IBPS PO Recruitment 2012

In the year 1975 IBPS began its journey as the Personnel Selection Services (PSS) under the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM). IBPS became an independent body in 1984 working under RBI and the public sector banks. The IBPS recruitment has always been conducted by the Common Written Examination (CWE) which is the exam conducted India wide to select the eligible candidates for the job. IBPS recruit for all types of jobs which the banks require from Probationary Officer, Specialist Officers to Clerks. IBPS PO recruitment 2012 is significant for the sole purpose of being a very significant contributor in the employment of the people. The advertisement for the CWE for PO/MT 2012 has been released and there would be an exam in the month of June. This year there has been talks about a huge vacancy to be fulfilled by the banks and this will allow the intake of a large number in the banking sector.

The syllabus comprises of quantitative aptitude, general intelligence, English, general knowledge based mainly on banking and economics and computer knowledge. There will also be a descriptive paper which will only be checked once you have qualified in the MCQ part. Any Indian citizen between 20-30 years of age having completed his/her graduation can sit for the exam
